To reach the maximum effect of butyrates it’s better that the active compounds are released in the intestines. To make sure that they don’t dissolve in the stomach already they coat the butyrates with a plant based fat. A big disadvantage of this coating is that it makes it hard to analyze the amount of butyrates due to the bad solubility of the fat coated products
Special method
After intensive research and years of experience NutriControl was capable of developing an own method. With this method NutriControl is able to analyze the amount of butyrates, even when they're coated with plant based fat. The method is based on a HPLC and can also be used to determine the speed where buttery acids are released in in-vitro tests.
