What motivated you to transition from a microbiology analyst to a relationship manager in customer service?
As an analyst, I knew exactly what steps were needed to successfully conduct an analysis. I wanted to apply that knowledge more broadly. In my role as a relationship manager, I can leverage my education and background to support customers with a variety of inquiries. Additionally, I am now involved not only in NutriControl's microbiological and biochemical aspects but also work across the entire laboratory, making my job even more challenging and interesting.
How does your background as a microbiological analyst help you in your new role?
Thanks to my practical experience, I have a strong understanding of specific microbiological and biochemical questions. This allows me to better comprehend customer inquiries and explain them with more context, providing clear guidance and advice.
What do you find most appealing about your new role, and what is the biggest difference compared to your previous position?
What I enjoy most in my new role is the direct interaction with customers. While NutriControl offers a wide range of services, this position allows me to better understand why these services are so important to our clients. The biggest difference from my previous role is that I now work across a much broader scope within NutriControl. In this role, I encounter a wide variety of inquiries, making my job far more diverse.
What challenges do you expect in transitioning from lab work to customer relations?
The challenges I foresee are also the areas in which I aim to grow. While I bring my experience in microbiology and biochemistry into my new role, there are still many analyses within other departments that I am less familiar with. This position gives me the opportunity to expand my theoretical knowledge while simultaneously providing optimal support to our customers.
